Oak Hill United Methodist Church  loves to worship, serve and fellowship together and has been an important part of this community since 1844  We actively support local ministries like Meals on Wheels and the Epworth Children’s Home and seek to show the love of Jesus Christ to all we meet.

The mission of the church is to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit…” (Matt. 28:19). We believe that God’s grace is extended to all people, and that God desires that all repent and come to faith in Jesus Christ. This offer of salvation is found in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God also desires that people grow in holiness. Further, we believe the Bible is inspired by God and is authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

Our pastor- Allan Burden was appointed to this church in July 2010.  He is currently working towards the completion of his studies in order to complete the candidacy for ordination as an elder of the United Methodist Church.  Pastor Burden grew up in Calhoun Falls, SC where he attended Calhoun Falls United Methodist Church and has served in the Georgia Army National Guard as well as serving as a law enforcement officer for 6 years with the towns of Calhoun Falls, Woodruff, and most recently Ware Shoals, SC.  Pastor Burden has 3 beautiful children and we are excited about the ministry opportunities available for all ages from 1 to 100!

It is an exciting time at Oak Hill and all are invited to come worship where you will find open minds, open hearts, and open doors!
